Rusty is a rescued crossbreed Hungarian Vizsla and Irish Setter.  He is a lovely dog with enough energy for two normal dogs. He has long legs and his favourite pastime is running - usually in a straight line - until he reaches something he can't jump (not much) or sneak under.  He is my inspiration for writing TKMon as every time he escaped (which was fairly frequently) I had no idea which way to go to catch him. Placing a tracker on his collar and following him on my mobile phone means that I can sneak up on him even when he is hiding in the long grass or woods. He's a bright dog but hasn't yet worked out how we find him. I'm sure that when he does he'll find a way of throwing his collar and we'll be back to square one.
